GIFs are not working in my browser

Hello! I'm using Google Chrome and iCloud Photos on the website to browse my photos. Unfortunatelly all my GIFs under "Media Type" - "Animated" are just static images. They're working when I download them and open from my desktop. I'm kind of annoyed because I really love iCloud Photos in browser. But I have many GIFs so it's a problem for me.

I tried different browsers and tried different Chrome settings (I was thinking maybe something is blocking proper displaying of my GIFs but no luck for me...).
