Apps not allowing screen record ipad

that's what i figured. what i was looking for was some alternate screen recorder app in the app store that would be able to bypass this problem? I can't tell from their description.

my content was strictly my music performance. maybe there some other app that will allow me to take from video camera roll, and then be able to manipulate the vid for slowdown purposes so my student can study it? Imovies can speedup or slowdown but the pitch is affected proportionately. the app i am using that doesnt allow the screen recording allows slowdown of vid and still preserve the same frequencies. thank you
