Same on every devise that have catalina..

I think I found cause of this problem. Every time this glitch happened I was saving my .psd files to external ssd or hdd drives! After I started to work with files that are saved on my internal ssd problem never repeated again!

So first save on internal drive and after that its safe to move it to external drive.

Not a perfect solution, but will work till Catalina fix or till new notebook..

Force Quit the Application:

Force restarting will do you no good. You would lose any and all unsaved files. So, always attempt Force Quit first, but Shut Down as a last resort.

So, if your Mac is stuck:

First, exit out of this application:

  1. Hold Down: the command button
  2. Keep Tapping: the tab button until you get to the Finder (smiley face).
  3. Release: both keys.

Then, use Force Quit:

  1. Go To: Finder menu (top-left of screen)
  2. Select: Force Quit...
  3. Select: All applications ending with:(not responding)
  4. Click: Force Quit button

Have you tried a new user? If not, try one, and see If it then works. Crate it in Unser & Groups of System Preferences.. If it successfully loads, then it is something configured in your current user. If not, it is probably the software itself. So, if a new user does not work, a new install may be just what you need. You would uninstall it. Contact Adobe, requesting a new license key to reinstall the corrupt software.

Get this Reinstalled - Use Adobe:

  1. Go Here: Contact us - Adobe
  2. Click: the Chat button
  3. Use: Account or product support pane
  4. Click: Get Started
  5. Log In: With Adobe or Apple account
  6. Proceed form there as necessary

Contact Us Button on Adobe (Bottom-Right of Screen).

8 GB of RAM is barely suitable for Catalina along with other major apps running. But, you also can't upgrade it.

Other than that, you have very little extraneous software installed. However, absolutely get rid of the fan control software. It alone could be causing the problem. On top of that, it's likely allowing your Mac to overheat by intentionally keeping the fans below a certain speed. This will only eventually lead to hardware failure as the Mac is not being allowed to properly cool itself down. If they fans get loud, then let it. The OS is doing that for a very good reason.

I would also strongly suggest getting rid of Chrome. I really don't understand what people think is so great about this browser. It's a known system resource hog. And on top of that, whether Chrome itself is open or not, it is continuously sending anonymized data of your computer and Internet usage to Google's server the entire time you Mac is on. That's what these two .plist files do:

[Loaded] com.google.keystone.agent.plist (? 0 - installed 2020-03-17)

[Loaded] com.google.keystone.xpcservice.plist (? 0 - installed 2020-03-17)

No one should ever install anything written by Google. It's free because you are their product. Collecting reams of data to sell to marketing firms.

I got this mb pro new with Catalina preinstalled, it cant be the reason.

What can't be the reason? The amount of RAM? A 15,4 MacBook Pro is a 2019 model that could be ordered with 8 or 16 GB of RAM. I would not have gotten anything less than the maximum of 16 GB. It's too late to change that now as the RAM is not upgradeable after the fact.

As far as the OS, it was originally released with Mojave, but as Apple always does, the same model built later (even though it's still considered a 2019 Mac) has the firmware is updated so it will only boot to the latest OS.

I installed fan control to make it cooler no more quiet and it helps.

Again, this is bad. Very bad. Only Apple's engineers know what the Mac needs to do in order to keep it from overheating, and just generally properly cooled. They designed it top to bottom and know exactly what the thermal specs are. A third party vendor cannot do better than Apple's own engineers.

I don't thing that developers are so stupid to release a product that barely can handle it system.

Every single computer maker does this. They sell computers at the lowest possible price point to make it more enticing to buy. 8 GB of RAM is fine if all you're doing are simple tasks such as word processing and browsing the Internet. When you start throwing in resource intensive apps like Photoshop, you need to take into account how you're going to use this computer and order it accordingly. That means a faster CPU, more RAM, and a larger drive. Especially on a model that cannot be upgraded later.

Back to the issue. Have you (again) created a new user account and tested Photoshop there? We are otherwise both wasting our time by not knowing if the issue is related only to your main user account, or if it's a system wide problem.
