I've recently updated my macbook to ios Catalina and since then I have not been able to edit pdfs or record a key bind for push to talk on discord. How do I fix this?

Preview has never been able to edit PDFs. The only thing it can do is add simple annotations or add colors behind selected text, which is not an actual edit.
I have no idea what record a key bind for push to talk on discord means.
iOS is for Apple's mobile devices such as the iPad or iPhone. Catalina is the latest version of macOS.
Other than that, we can't assist without knowing what apps you're talking about.

He probably means assign a keyboard shortcut so he can press it to talk on Discord.

Ah. Well, at least there's the answer. It's a known issue the vendor is going to have to fix.
