does anyone knows how to fix iPad usb not connecting to Mac?

What macOS or Windows app are you using?
Shut down all other apps on the Mac or Windows system, and try again.
If you’re using add-on anti-virus or add-on anti-malware, disable or remove it, and try again.
Reboot both ends and try again.

when I connected the usb to the computer a text pop out on the iPad "trust or don't trust " but then it keeps disappearing before can click on it
