Shut down all other apps on the Mac or Windows system, and try again.
If you’re using add-on anti-virus or add-on anti-malware, disable or remove it, and try again.
Reboot both ends and try again.

when I connected the usb to the computer a text pop out on the iPad "trust or don't trust " but then it keeps disappearing before can click on it
