Calendar icon disappeared

Without warning the calendar icon (and hence access to the calendar) disappeared from my iPhone 6. Any suggestions on how to restore it? I've checked the calendar in Settings and all looks normal

First, start by powering the iPhone off and back on again. next step, try force restarting the iPhone, Force restart iPhone - Apple Support If those don't work, check another one of your home pages, or check in your folders to see if it got accidentally moved there. Use the Search function and search for calendar to see if it shows up in a folder as well. The last step is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout and it should reappear. Understand running that command will also undo any folders you have created yourself and you will have to create them again. If you still cannot find it, go to the App Store and search for Calendar.
