Phishing email
I just opened a phishing email that used what I thought was my daughter's email address(there was an additional 'c' in there). How do I clear anything the perp may have installed on my computer?
MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15

Did it download anything when you opened it?
Run EtreCheck Pro and post back here with the Report.

You can also safety use and run the free version of Malwarebytes to look for malware.
If all you did was open the email and read it, then you're done. This isn't Windows, where emails can automatically launch attachments upon opening.
Just delete the email.
unless you launch some app attached to the mail and type in your administration password allowing said app to get administrative privileges
or if you followed some link in the mail and typed in your appleID or other internet account user name and password
then you should be safe enough
Malwarebytes found nothing. Etrecheck tells me I need to create a Time Machine backup and either ditch or update a 32 bit Go ToMeeting app. It also says I need to provide full drive access as it could not scan everything. Ho who I do that?

I am aware of what to watch out for. I made a mistake in not seeing the extra 'c' in the email address and opened it. What do I do now?
Thanks to everyone for the help!
You're welcome.
Ditto to what Kurt has shared.
When you first open EtreCheck Pro, there is an “Allow Full Drive Access” box in the bottom left corner of the panel.
You should also get yourself a decent external hard drive and start using Time Machine.
The only thing I see of any concern is LogMeIn is installed (about 7 months ago) and running.
Never, ever have remote access software installed without having a very good reason for it being there.
