i have an iPhone 11 pro 256gb and also a MacBook pro 256. I want to make a backup but there is not enough space so it s not possible.
Is there a way to change the location of the backup to an external drive?

Well, yes, but it’s sort of unofficial. You create a backup directory on the external drive, copy the current backup folder to it, then replace the current backup folder with a symbolic link to the new location.
