How do I use my iphone 11 Pro ear buds on my macbook pro 15" 2018?

Is there an adaptor for iPhone 11 Pro wired ear buds (lightning connector) that will attach to my MacBook Pro (15" 2018)? Or do I have to use the old ear buds with the 3.5 plug?

I guess if there is a Female lightning to 3.5 male adaptor that would work. Am I right?

An adapter like that would likely cost more than a new set of headphones(if anyone made one)

It would have to convert the analog sound from the Macbook to digital sound that the EarPods can play as far as I know.

OK. Thanks. As others have no doubt noted, it would be nice if Apple could simplify using all these different plugs.
