iPhone 11 Pro Max Call volume too low.

Call volume is too low on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Volume is increased to max volume during a call. It is the same issue with or without a protective case on the phone. All options offered on Apple Support page have been tried to no avail. Speaker is clean. Settings have been reset and phone has been restarted. noise cancellation has been turned off. Accessibility options have been tried. Nothing works.

Call volume is fine on speaker and on AirPods.

I like some options, please!

Based on your post it sounds like you’re experiencing lower than expected volume while on telephone calls on your iPhone 11 Pro Max. Is that right? If so, you should be able to hear your contacts as expected, and I’ll be happy to help advise.

You’ve done a great job isolating the issue so far. I’d like to have you check a few more things.

Do you know if this occurs with Ring/Silent mode disabled?

How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode

Do you experience the issue while playing a ringtone in Settings > Sound & Haptics > Ringtone?

Is Wi-Fi calling enabled on the iPhone?

If so, can you test the issue after disabling that feature? About Wi-Fi Assist

I would also recommend testing with LTE temporarily disabled on the device as well.

Lastly, do you know if this occurs using FaceTime audio?

WiFi calling is NOT enabled and I have tried it both on and off. Lte and voLTE also make no difference. Again, this is NOT speaker related, it is only call volume at the earpiece. The speaker plays ringtones and functions correctly.

The phone behaves as if the call volume is all the way down (lower than that actually) but it isn't. I am an Apple Certified Tech at Best Buy and have tried all the normal things.
