iphone back up using itunes if screen is black

Hi-

My iPhone screen is not currently working. I have my phone plugged in to my laptop with iTunes open. On iTunes, it says that my phone is "backing up". Will this complete a full back up with my photos and videos?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 13

It depends on which method you use and your settings (encrypted?), but generally on-computer backups don’t include anything that is already stored in iCloud or can be readily re-downloaded, like apps.

Re photos: if you haven’t already, download them to your computer and enable iCloud Photo Library, then give it plenty of time to download. The safe assumption would be that only the most recent photos in Camera Roll would be part of the backup.
