Screen white with shadows?

Hi there,

my iPad was dropped and now the screen is either fully white, white with some shadowing around the corners or black (when I do a hard reset and turn it off). It makes a sound when plugged in and responds to the restart, but the screen never responds so I’m not sure if it’s a display problem? The screen itself is not cracked. Photo attached. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot at home?
