force quit applications

when i am on a skype video call it just stops,with a warning saying that my system has run out of application memory..i am also paying for icloud storage every month and i have in macintosh hd 50,60GB available of 121GB..what can i do?

That's not memory; it's storage, and as you wrote you have plenty of it.


I realize that doesn't answer your question. Determine how much memory your Mac is using with Activity Monitor: Check if your Mac needs more RAM in Activity Monitor
