The BenQ SW321C would obviously make an excellent display for photo editing.
The difficulty however is that my Mac Pro (Late 2013) only supports HDMI 1.4 UltraHD or DisplayPort 1.2.
BenQ has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 respectively.
Could You, please, verify whether an antiquated Mac Pro can handle 4K resolution (3840×2160) @ 60Hz without any loss of quality?

I have used the Dell U2718Q and U3219Q 4 k displays without any issues. I not use the BenQ because third party is so iffy for functionality. I've tried many types over the years with my 2013 Mac Pro. Use minidisplayport to DisplayPort connector. Not HDMI.
Dell U3219Q and BenQ SW321C appear to share similar connections (both have DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0).
But what do You mean by “third party” here? Is Dell special in some way with regard to MacOS?
Those two Dell displays are special because they work with many different kinds of Macs and system software without issues.
