Connect macbook retina earlyt 2015 to HP monitor

Hi Apple Community,

I have a Macbook (Retina, 12 inch, early 2015 model) which I would like to connect to a second monitor. This is the monitor I would like to connect to: HP EliteDisplay E243 23.8" FHD IPS monitor. Also linked below.

My question is, which connector do I need in order to do this?

Hi, that monitor is pretty low rez so even USB-C to HDMI would work, or USB-C to VGA.

2nd Display Support:Dual/Mirroring2nd Max. Resolution:3840x2160

Details:This model can simultaneously support the internal display as well as up to 3840x2160 on an external display, both at "millions of colors."
