Is this notice i am getting something I should not trust? I have no app called search for words? Do you want the application “SearchForWords” to accept incoming network connections?

Sounds likeAdware has installed itself on your Mac...

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report...

Or use the paperclip at the bottom of a Reply to attach the full report here. :)

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.

There is also free Malwarebytes which may take care of it...

I did what you suggested and I have not had a repeat of the notice in over an hour. I believe the adware is gone. I also learned a bit more of where stuff is in my computer. I have only been with apple for a short time. I began my experience with Apple way back with the Apple 2 and 3 and then spent my career working with Windows software. Apple looks alot like Ubuntu and those languages and systems. Thank you for your help.
