I got a message that my Apple ID has been disabled

I was just on ITunes trying to make a purchase. I have to enter my Apple ID to confirm the transaction. I get a msg that my Apple ID has been disabled. I have no idea why! About a month ago my account was hacked and I changed my passwords and security questions. I know if someone tries to log in with the wrong info to many times it’ll disable it. This was not my case.... unless someone else tried to many times..... so I’m wondering what I can do? Can I reset my ID or get a new one WITHOUT going to an Apple store? State is on lockdown and we can’t leave home.

The message said you have to contact Apple Support and that’s what you’ll have to do.

There are many reasons the account could have been disabled, many have to do with payment or security issues. To see more detailed instructions, read the below links.

If the issue is regarding security, see this Apple article:

If it says your App Store / iTunes is disabled, you’ll have to contact Apple Store Support directly; read this article:

Deleting is not advised since all your purchases are forever tied to that account. You can modify the email associated with it and change the password.

Follow these steps to change the email address or phone number that you use as your Apple ID.

You can change or reset the password for your Apple ID account by providing some information. Reset your password here.
