No notifications and vibrations

I have an iPhone X.

I’m not getting notifications on my lock screen for apps. I have the notifications switched to on in my settings and everything. My WiFi is perfect, cellular data is on, i don’t know what’s going on. I also have my phone set on vibrate and the switch on the side of my phone is silent so that the vibrations will work. When i exit an app i will feel a smalllll vibration but barely. The vibration is weak and 2 weeks ago i was able to feel it normally. I can’t feel the vibration in my pocket. I reset my phone and did a software update. Can someone help?

iPhone XR, iOS 13

Hi NinaAlbano,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you're having an issue with notifications on the Lock screen, and the vibration motor doesn't feel as it normally does. I'll be happy to do what I can to help.

Looking at the article Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, there is a separate setting to preview your notification on the Lock screen without unlocking your iPhone. Settings > Notifications > Show Previews, and select Always

For the vibration motor not feeling as strong as it did previously, if you have a case on your iPhone, remove it. Test the vibration motor again, as the case may be interfering with the vibration action.

If the motor does stop vibrating, you can have your iPhone serviced for that, as it is an actual motor. iPhone Repair and Service

Take care!
