i have an ipod that my friend gave me and want to transfer my old ipods library onto it.

Hello,
It is not possible to transfer music from one iPod to another. You will need to synchronize your new iPod with the computer you originally synchronized your music library to your old iPod.
As QuickPost suggested just synchronize your new iPod with the computer you originally synchronized your music library to your old iPod. You'll get a message that this will remove all of the existing data from the iPod. Just let it do that.
thank you how do you synchronize ,my mates to my computer ,he has already put music on his i pod , he just dosnt use it anymore cheers
You can have either his music or yours, but not both.
