I have an ipod classic 3rd gen . I used it for years and years but yesturday when i powered up, ir shows the boot logo for hours and i couldn’t even enter to the menu . I can hear the hard disn spinning but nothing happens
It is likely that the hard drive has failed.

You probably can't. Hard drives don't last forever. I doubt anyone is still shipping a compatible drive for the 3rd gen. iPod classic, but I could be wrong. Any data you had on the drive and nowhere else is gone for good.
