Photos Library
My Photos Library is showing as 15 GB on my hard drive, however, when I open Photos no images are present.

You may want to check, if Photos is using the correct library. The path to the Photos Library is shown in the Photos > Preferences > General, at the top of the panel.
If Photos is using the wrong library, quit Photos, then double click your Photos Library in the Finder to open the library you want to use.
