laptop shutting down automatically

please help me with this why my macbook air is hutting down randomly if charger is connected its working but if i am removig it is shutting down randomly

You may have a defective battery. You can check the condition of the battery by Option-clicking the battery icon and if the condition is anything except "Normal" or "Good" it means the battery should be replaced.


You can also run the Apple Diagnostics which may be able to detect a hardware issue.


Try an SMC reset.
