Dear all,
I am wondering what one should do when inserting images (in this case PDFs) into table's cells.
My experience with Pages, compared to Microsoft Word, for example, is that Pages doesn't give the user any flexibility in resizing the image after it has been inserted into the table's cell.
Am I missing something or is it so by design?

Sorry but this is not true: I select the cell, press Cmd-Shift-V and I get the file browser to insert the image...
The fact that I may not be able or allowed to edit it is another story though and a point where this program is seriously behind.
Interesting. Over the years, I stopped using the Insert Choose menu item, in preference to drag and drop images. My original reasoning was that drag and drop images go into a Table cell as a background image, as if included via the Cell : Fill : Choose approach.
Drag and drop also kind of work but inserts a small and incorrectly sized version of the image.
Still, in both methods, those images are not selectable, nor interactive.
only way seems to edit them outside of pages but it is so unwieldy...
You cannot insert objects into a Pages table cell. You can tell the cell to use the image, or single-page pdf as an unchangeable, image fill for the cell background.
How to manage images inside a table's cell in Pages?
