Passwords - saving in new ipad in Safari
I've seen instructions about saving a password for a website by going to Settings > Safari> Autofill and passwords but there is no mention of passwords in the latest ipads.

You need to enable your iCloud Keychain for both your iPad and iPhone:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Keychain - set to ON
Once enabled, your website passwords can be accessed here:
Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & Account Passwords
Website passwords are automatically generated and stored in your Keychain upon their creation.

Have figured it out, for anyone else, enter your password on the website in safari, then tap the password icon on the keyboard, then press "save password".
