Cannot Boot Up / No Option Works/ Safe Mode or P+R do not work.

The apple logo and my password logo shows up. Underneath is a message: ‘If you’re having a problem entering your password, press and hold the power button on your Mac to shut it down” Then press is again to start up in the Recovery Mode.

I have tried EVERyHING!! I put in my password. The screen goes blank or switches off... or sometimes goes to reset password. I try holding down shift or Cmd and option and shift or P and R and the thousands of other suggestions - nothing works. I cannot get in. Is there any option out there at all? At no time does the screen go black - I get the logo and my password. I know my password. I put it in. I wait ten minutes for the log grey line to load. And then.... machine switches off. Repeatedly.. Please do not ask me to hold down the shift key or any other keys. This does NOT work. I am in despair. I have lost an entire book

if it doesn’t work, try internet recovery:

command+option+r

Yes I have tried this. I have got into Internet recovery which leads to macOSUtilities but anything I do from there fails. Restore from Time Machine does not work (even when inserted another disk - because it won’t load onto the hard drive. Just says after choosing the Mac, searching for discs and freezes. Disc Utility does a sweep says ok then back to the same. Reinstalling Mac doesn’t work either - so whatever I do, I am lost.
