Not valid for use in the Canada Store

Hi, I have been living in the USA for over 2 years now. I purchased my Apple TV in Canada when I was living there. When I try to download my Prime Video or Netflix, I get an error that says 'your account is not valid for use in the Canada Store. You must switch to the United States store before purchasing'

On my Apple TV, I went to settings, and the region says United States.

How can I get rid of this error?

Thanks

Mona

The region of the App Store and iTunes Store that you have access to, is determined by the region of your Apple ID account (your billing address). Your device region should match the Apple ID region.

Users are not allowed to shop out-of-region. Switching regions may cause losing access to previous purchases on that account.

You really helped me, you solved my problem!!! I was changing the region, but what I didn't realize is that you need to change your BILLING address!!! And I was still using my Canadian Visa, therefore even if I changed the region, it wasn't working! Once I changed my billing address, I had to log off and log on, good old reboot, and voilà!!! It worked!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
