Backing Up iPod 2nd Gen to iCloud

I am trying to back up my iPod 2nd Generation to the iCloud but have trouble. I go to the General section but do not see my name as owner. Therefore the instruction Apple provides does not work.

Ownership Change - iPod Touch In 2019, I purchased a new iPod Touch 128 GB. I've loaded a lot of music from my iMac in that time, but recently I've decided to sell it to a friend. He's been using it for a month or so. In the last few days, I've been getting notifications on my iPhone regarding someone using signing into iMessage and FaceTime. The iPod is still registered with Apple under my personal ID. So, I know how to change the ownership settings, but here is a question. If I go in and change all the information and reset everything under the new owner, can we still load music from my iMac? The new owner is not terribly acquainted with Apple, and has asked me if we can continue to load music or whatever else might be possible from my iMac. He does have a computer, though it is an older PC. He doesn't really want to get into the intricacies of downloading iTunes onto his computer, figuring out how to get music into iTunes and onto his computer, etc. All input is appreciated. Thanks.

Transfer iPod Touch to new owner without erasing all content I want to give my iPod Touch to my husband, who wants to use much of the content installed, but wants to use his own identity (user name, password, etc.). I no longer want it connected to my iCloud account and other devices, but if I restore it to factory settings to set it up as a new device, all will be erased. Is there a way to change the ownership without deleting everything first? Also, when I go to my iCl;oud account, the iPod is listed, but there's no way to remove it without erasing everything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

iPod touch (2nd generation)’s support was ended prior to the introduction to iCloud. You cannot use iCloud on this 12 year old iPod model.
