Hello leilaaaaaa,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with the camera on your Mac. I'd be happy to share information that may help.

First, disconnect any peripherals that you have connected to your Mac.

Next, try to start up your Mac in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac.

Test this issue in another user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.

If you're still having trouble, please reply with the following details:

-Is your camera working with any other apps, such as Photo Booth?

-Did this begin after making any changes to your Mac?

Take care.
