MacOS Catalina does not sync photos with iOS Devices

Since someone marked the original thread ( https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250716707?page=1 ) as „Solved“ - which is definitely not the case 😡 - I restart it here.

Photos App / Finder Catalina After installing Catalina Finder does not work properly when trying to sync to iPhone or iPad , using the Photos app photos does not sync from Mac to other devices , some photos are there and others are not. I have eventually managed to delete all photos from my iPhone and completely rebuilt my Photos Library from scratch I have tried all the suggested fixes and have also been in touch with Apple support and after all that have been informed that it might be a problem in Photos or Finder and to wait for an update. In desperation I paid extra i cloud storage and uploaded all photos to the cloud and down to my iPad and iPhone and everything was as it should be , after doing that i then had over 7000 photos in my recent folder on both the mac and other devices , sorry to long winded but apple support told me that after 30 days the photos in recent would disappear but they are still there and if i try to delete it will delete on all devices so any help on the above would be great and is a fix coming out soon as it would appear this is a long standing problem.

photos from iCloud to photos for Mac After upgrading to Catalina my photos from iCloud no longer get updated on my Mac's. My IOS devices all update fine, just not the Mac's. After many searches it seems there is no fix even though I'm running the latest version of Catalina with all available updates. Any new suggestions?

Big Sur upgrade changed my Photo files When I upgraded to Big Sur, my Mac Photo files were changed, and then could only be opened by a computer running Big Sur - Apple should not be allowed to do this, as my 2 other Mac Airs running Catalina could no longer access my Photos file. Why do they constantly change the files?? But the other issue I'm having is, I can no longer sync my iPhone 11 running iOS 15.2.1. Whenever I attempt to sync, the iPhone connects and backs up, but halts the syncing process at that point and does not sync Photos or Music. I have since updated my two Mac Airs to Big Sur, and can access my photos on them once again, but they too will not sync with my phone. I suspect there is a problem with the Big Sur photos file now that it is changed. Anybody else had this problem?

Well, I never thought that THEY will contact me, for me it was a first big success to really show that it truly does not work. I do not expect too much but we will see.

But some of the Users have unintendedely selected the iCloud. So I wanted make sure, that iCloud Photos is unselected before proceeding.

One odd thing I am seeing too is that it keeps resyncing audiobooks too.
