Apple watch stuck on erase all content and settings

I have a series 3 apple watch that seems to be stuck in a loop. it shows a screen with two options. Erase all content and settings or cancel. If i choose cancel the screen changes to the black screen with an apple on it. Then it goes back to the screen with choices to erase all content or cancel. If you choose erase all content it asks if you are sure. if you select the green check it looks like it is doing something then returns back to the screen with two options of erase all content or cancel. Holding the power off button has no effect.

Try this;

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then tap on it, then tap on the green check button.

Any solution? I’m having the same problem and a hard reset doesn’t fix anything.
