no sound on iPhone 7

My IPhone 7 makes no sound. When I slide my ringer slider in my settings no sounds come out. My volume buttons still make clicking noises when I press them. My volume bar won’t show up when I press my volume buttons.The assistive touch won’t let me turn my volume or down, it just stays at the halfway mark. When I try to turn my volume up or down on the Control Panel it won’t let me turn it up or down. I read some articles to reset my whole phone... Will that help? Please help me! (And no my phone isn’t on silent mode)
