SIM not supported

Hi,


I've asked the current provider of an iPhone 8 to unlock the device for use on different network providers.

They have told me this has been done - however, when i insert a card from another provider it still says SIM not supported. Is there anything you can do here to help?

Yes, it's possible.


Call AppleCare and give them the serial number. They can tell you whether it's been unlocked or not.

If it has been, you may need to restore iOS to the device using iTunes to complete the process.
