Content you see is based on the region set for the Apple ID signed in. The Apple Tv itself has no region setting.

If your Apple ID is set to canada, you will get apps or channels that are available in Canada, however their content may not be available to view in Norway.

If you want to see Norwegian apps and channels, change the region of Apple ID that is signed in to the Apple TV.

No, this is a fairly common question. You cannot view content from another region as long as you are in Canada. I have tested this myself, I live in the US and took my Apple TV to Mexico for a vacation, while the Apple TV worked perfectly it was only able to view content available in Mexico.

No not at all, when you move back to Norway, simply plug your Apple TV in and you should be good to go.

Do note, that Norwegian content may not be viewable in Canada, but that will be on an app by app basis.
