MacBook Pro freezes when running Windows

My 2017 MacBook Pro 15" running Windows 10 Pro has begun freezing 20-30 minutes after booting the OS. Whether I'm doing an intensive or light task, the computer completely freezes (cannot make any interaction with the device, the picture stays static and any sound that was playing turns into an annoying buzz). I have to hold the power button to shut the device down and then boot again only to experience the same problem. The issue started about a week ago. I have used Windows 10 Pro on this machine for over two years and have not experienced this issue. It does not happen when I use macOS Catalina.

Please let me know if you can think of any potential fixes.

The Mac was hot based on the task it was doing at the time. The fans accelerated during heavy workloads much the same as they had in the past.

I kept on troubleshooting. I tried disconnecting each of the devices I normally plug into my machine during use. It seemed a long shot, as I started using it a long time before the problem started, but after disconnecting my external display the problem did not reappear. After a couple hours of no issues, I plugged the display back in. Several hours down the line and Windows is yet to crash again. I hope it stays that way!
