After downloading the latest OS, I have noticed that when saving a JPG file, or re-saving (overwriting an existing file) in Photoshop, that it keeps adding 'copy' top the extension name! I'm not asking it to make a copy. I've asked Adobe and they say it's a Mac issue. Any word on how long this annoying bug will hang around??!

Thanks for the reply. I understand that, but I'm trying to save over an existing file with the exact same name. It asks would I like to replace it, I say yes, and then it still creates the 'copy' file. Thats my issue. I have never had this issue before, only showed up since updating the OS to Catalina.
well. I have the same issue. And the problem is that I have a psd/psb file where I want to save a copy as a jpg (for indesign and websites) When you make a correction in the psd file you can't overwrite the jpg.
That is a MAJOR bug from my point of view.
It's not a bug. You can't have two files with same name in the same place, hence the prompt to add copy to the name.
Just press Save then, or close the file and changes will be saved.
