Have you tried signing out of Settings/Your Name/iCloud and then back in? See the Add a device section in the article below.


Apple ID device list -Check to see where you‘re signed in.

Ok-sorry for the additional question, but what does that mean? Sign into iCloud? Or do I need to sign into iCloud using that device?

Again, sorry for my ignorance, but I also bought AirPods, and if I removed them, I’m not sure how I would ‘sign in’ to restore them.

I removed an iPod touch. I thought I was removing it ONLY from my husband’s ‘find my’ iPhone device on his phone. There was no need for him to have that device to track . It deleted it from our whole iCloud account! I got an email saying it was in the process’ of removing the device. I thought it would be an email asking if I made a mistake (which I did!)
