Use android tabled as a second screen for a mac

Hello to the community. These days I struggle finding a proper way to utilise my android tablet as a second screen for my mac. There are some solutions if you have a pc and an android device, or a mac and an ipad. But the... interracial mix doesn't work, at least for me.

Does anybody has some proper way/app to suggest?

I tried Splashtop's WiredXDisplay, which had the best reviews (in the Play Store). It seems like one of the best solutions, IF it works on your setup. Unfortunately, it did not work out for me.
