iWatch/iPhone won't pair after installing IOS 13.4

Hello,

I just updated my phone to IOS 13.4 (iPhone 11). After that, I got a notification to update my iWatch 2 to 6.2. I tried to, but something went wrong and the watch/phone got unpaired. I tried all the suggestions given in this link https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205025.

At first, I was able to reset the watch, pair them again and download/install 6.2. After the installation finished the watch ask again to pair.

The problem is that the Watch app on iPhone does not work properly. It says to put the Apple Watch and hold it to the camera but the camera isn't working. Here's the screenshots of the Watch app.

The second screen keep shows "Please wait..."

I get this notification when I put the watch closed to the phone, but when I click Continue nothing happens.

I restarted several times, both iWatch and iPhone but still the watch does not work.

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello Chriz1234,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand you're unable to successfully pair an Apple Watch to your iPhone, since the recent update of watchOS 6.2.

Having the ability to use and enjoy using your Apple Watch is certainly important and I'll be happy to help.

Excellent job with the troubleshooting steps that were performed. To isolate this further, I recommend making sure that the Bluetooth feature on your iPhone is turned on by going to Settings > Bluetooth. If it's off, please temporarily turn it off and back on again. Then, restart both the iPhone and the Apple Watch and attempt the pairing process. If needed, here's how to perform each of these steps:

  1. Restart your iPhone
  2. Restart Apple Watch
  3. Set up and pair Apple Watch with iPhone

Please let me know if that helps.
