First, please restart your Mac in "Safe Mode". To do that follow these instructions: How to use safe mode on your Mac.

Starting a Mac in Safe Mode takes longer than usual so let it finish. When you can eventually log in, your Mac should work more or less normally. All you need to do is confirm that it does. Then, restart your Mac in the usual manner.

That step doesn't fix anything. Some things don't work properly when a Mac is in "Safe Mode" so don't worry about that. Your only task right now is to confirm the scattered photos, "Combo Cleaner" and "Malwarebytes" do not appear in Safe Mode. They will probably reappear after you restart normally.

Write back for the next step. There will be several additional steps.

So far everything looks ok. What I'd like you to do is delete those items showing as "paused" in Launchpad by positioning your cursor over them, then pressing with your mouse or trackpad. Do not click or double-click them. Just keep your mouse button or trackpad pressed down for a couple of seconds, long enough for them to start "shaking".

When they start doing that, a circled X will appear at their upper left. Click the X and a dialog box will appear asking if you're sure you want to delete it. Click the Delete button.

Repeat it for all the items showing as "paused". They aren't affecting your Mac so you might as well get rid of them anyway.

As far as the scattered photos go, I'm guessing they're used as your Desktop background. Read Customize the desktop picture on your Mac and see if you agree with that assumption.

Then, determine if you can use your Mac normally or if something still isn't right.

Yes there is a chance, unfortunately it won't be as simple as either you or I would prefer it to be.

After restarting your Mac normally, open  (Apple menu) > System Preferences... > Network.

The Network Preferences window will open. At the left you will probably find Wi-Fi is already selected since I am assuming you're using a wireless network. There should be an Advanced... button at the window's lower right. Click that button.

Next, select the DNS tab. You should see something like this:

What, if anything, is shown under DNS Servers? Whatever appears in it will be "greyed out" as in the above example, but describe what you see.

Then, click Cancel, and close the window or quit System Preferences.

Next please determine if any Profiles are installed: Remaining in System Preferences, click Cancel from that screenshot and select View from the System Preferences menu.

There should be no Profiles in it. It's sorted alphabetically, so if a Profile were present it would appear between Printers & Scanners and Screen Time in the above example.
