How to get iMovie for iMac Catalina

iMovie is not on my iMac. App Store does not seem have a download. How can I get iMovie for Catalina?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.14

Did you ever have iMovie 10 on your Mac, but perhaps deleted it? If so, you can do the following procedure:


Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You

will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie. Redownload/update iMovie from there.


If the above doesn't work, try typing in "iMovie 10 app" into the app store search box. You will then get several apps displayed, and iMovie 10 should be one of them. See if you can download it from there.
