I have an old iPhone 4 I’m trying to unlock to give to an elderly person during this world shutdown. I went to the provider I purchased it from and they said it requires Apple to unlock it. They said it was a security feature on the iPhone 4. Can Antonella’s assist with this?

There is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.

I am the original owner and asked the original network provider to I lock it and they said apple had to do it. We have put another providers sim into it & nothing.
