I recently switched to the iphone 11. Now whenever I get a message, I get a facebook alert saying *** messaged you plus a facebook messenger notification with the message. Is there a way to turn off the facebook notifications saying someone messaged you?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you would like to adjust the notifications for the FaceBook app on your iPhone. I’ve tried to look into settings on the phone, and notification settings on the Facebook app. I can’t seem to find anything that can solve my problem. I don’t want to disable notifications from Facebook. Just the ones where it says, I’ve received a message. Because I already get that notification from Facebook messenger. None of my friends have experienced the same, and I find it quite frustrating, because I can’t seem to find a solution. Thank you for your time :)
