I was cleaning my keyboard and the screen suddenly went to Quest user. I want my Admin user back, but have forgot my password. If I shut down will it come back as normal when I reboot? And can I shut down safely, or should I restart by holding Command+R down?

If it normally starts up without you having to enter a password then Shutdown or Restart should work fine.
