iPad won't recognize my Apple Magic Mouse

I have been trying to connect my Apple Magic Mouse to my 9.7" iPad (6th generation), but the iPad is not recognizing the mouse.

The mouse works fine with my MacBook Pro.

My Apple keyboard also words fine with my iPad.

What can I do to get my iPad to recognize my mouse?

The OS on my iPad is 13.3.1.

iPad Pro 9.7-inch WiFi, Cellular

You need to update to iPadOS 13.4.

Even with that, if you own a Magic Mouse 1st generation, finger scrolling and finger gestures are not supported for the MM vers. 1 or Magic Trackpad vers. 1.

iPadOS 13.4 supoorts MM vers. 2 and MT vers. 2.

Mouse support was introduced in iPadOS 13.4.

Settings > General > Software Update
