I forgot the passcode of the ipad. Then i restored my ipad using itunes then an activation lock appeared. It asked for my apple id and then when i entered my id, it said that the particular id could not be used with this ipad. Please direct me as to what to do next. i cannot access my ipad now.

If you are having difficulty verifying your AppleID, you can test access to your account from a web browser. This will at least verify that your own AppleID credentials are indeed correct:
If successful, this only demonstrates that your AppleID is good - it doesn’t confirm that your AppleID was used to last activate the iPad.
Are you the first owner of this iPad - or did somebody else use the iPad before you?
