ipod not working when not connected

My ipod will work fine when connected in car or the computer. When not connected, I can choose music, playlist, song, just fine. I get the image and the bar for volume and press the arrow and it looks like its playing , but no sound comes out. It is charged. What can be the problem? (not positive of which ipod it is)

Ipod wont sync my iPod classic fifth generation wont sync with my iTunes. i got it off of eBay and whenever i plug it in my iTunes app freezes up and i cant even close it. it will sometimes show up in file explorer if i put it into disk mode as disk and sometimes when i unplug it it comes up as a bunch of random symbols. when i turn the iPod on it works fine there is no music on it it works normally until i plug it in i have no idea what is wrong how do i sync it?

iPod Hi-Fi speaker turns on but does not play music - please help! Hi there. I recently purchased an iPod Hi-Fi speaker off of Facebook Marketplace. The seller had listed it as working and in good condition, but I cannot seem to get audio out of it. There are no internal batteries inserted and it is plugged into the wall for power. The green light in the lower right corner turns on but when I plug my iPod Touch 1st Generation into the dock, it does not charge. when I tap the airplay button it is noted that my iPod is connected to a dock and the volume controls disappear since the speaker controls take over. I have an iPod Shuffle that I tried to use through the auxiliary port and that failed to give any playback as well. The light is still green throughout all of this. I do not have the controller to go along so not sure if that has a setting on it that can help me.. If I need to repair this I have no issue opening it up to access the internals. I have done other device repairs before/ soldering so I am not shy to DIY. If someone could maybe know what the internal culprit is so that I can replace the part I would graciously appreciate it.

Thanks for the quick response. Sadly, I have no idea. I bought it 3 years ago and its been in the car most of the time. I tried to find receipt/paperwork but have had no success so far.

I did find the model number (with the help of a strong light and magnifier glass!) . Its an a1446. So its an ipod nano.
