Macbook Pro 2017 13” not charging after Catalina 10.15.4 update

Hi, I updated to Catalina 10.15.4 last night and now I can’t charge my MacBook as it doesn’t recognise it being plugged in at all. It was fine charging on Monday. I’ve tried all the usual things (SMC reset and NVRAM/PRAM reset) but nothing works. It has now run out of charge so it’s not as if I can roll it back (or even finish backing things up). Has anyone got any ideas?? Thanks

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

You can do this 2-3 times if necessary to elicit a favorable response

Verify the Condition of your Battery is Normal

From the BATT icon in the upper right menu bar hold the option key and click open.

Anything but Normal needs to be replaced
