I have an Iphone 6 that I'm trying to switch to an Iphone 8 Plus for Boost Mobile but their system tells me that the phone cannot be switched.
With the COVID, I cannot go into a Boost store to have them do the switch.
Any ideas?

Hi Ileana276 - I had to purchase a sim card for the phone and activate service at the store. I told them the web page doesn't mention you need to do that. I assumed I could use my same sim card by taking it from the old phone and putting it in the new, but I guess that's not the case.

It says: This device is not eligible to swap.
But, I called Boost Mobile and found out that they are open. So, I will take the phone to the store tomorrow to see what they can do.

What EXACTLY does "their system" tell you? Which message is displayed on your screen? What steps have you taken to make the switch? More details please. Thanks.
