Charger turning green

I just got a brand new Apple brand charger about a month ago. The tip of the charger is turning a blueish green colour. Not only is that happening but on my AirPods and my iPhone it’s warning me that the cable is wet? I left it to let it “dry” for more than a day now but it’s still saying the same thing.
