unknown calls silenced on iphone ring on ipad

Interesting. You are correct. I tried calling that unique number and it did not go through.

AT&T was not able to help either. Finally got through. So here is a work around I am attempting: Do not disturb turned on at all times, scheduled off silence always, allow calls from contacts only, repeat calls on.

We shall see. I noticed it does not block face time or cell calls from my wife. Now only time will tell if the other calls will be blocked..

Bumping this up again. I have silenced unknown callers (callers not in my address book) and that works well on my iPhone and it appears to work well on my Mac. However the cellular iPad still rings. I wonder if that it is because an iPad has a separate cell number and the caller is dialing that directly. No answers with att on the web and after 30 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. On hold again. I am looking for a solution that will not block face-time calls.

Any ideas?

That is exactly the plan. Block all unknown callers. That is what time will tell.....
